Fold&Roll Wiki — November 2026 (version 1.4)
In the same room, devices connect directly to the DM's device — no internet, no accounts. Party chat, DM messages, and direct messages at local tables stay on the devices in the room.
For remote tables, the DM creates a Telepathic Bond table and shares an invite link. The DM needs Fold&Roll+ at table creation; players join free and never need the unlock. Seats are persistent — a player keeps their seat until the DM removes them; there is no expiry. If a device gets bound to the wrong table, a person-present handoff door ends the current session and retries the bind once. One live table per DM; tables persist until the DM archives them.
Players choose what to share — including DM-only visibility. The DM's snapshots are authoritative, and versions only need online capability to play together; there is no exact-version lock.
A plain-language health surface for online tables: which channel you're on, your seat state, published vs. applied revisions, and errors written for humans instead of raw error codes.
The Apple Watch battle app (new in 1.4) puts your turn on your wrist, and a Live Activity counts down how many turns until yours. The Apple TV Table Display (new in 1.4) joins either kind of table as a display seat, so the shared screen shows the map without a laptop in the middle.
